Candle experts and progressive innovators, Armik and Nora Pirijanian began their candle journey over 30 years ago. After immigrating to the United States, much hard work, and dedication, they built Modern Candle into the highly regarded industry leader it is today.
Masters in their field, Armik and Nora are dedicated to continuing to be leading innovators in the field, pioneering unique formulations, and offering the best in candle making manufacturing capabilities. With an eye for quality, design, and trends, they are still present on the floor of the factory every day keeping a watchful eye on all aspects of production.
Modern Candle is still 100% family-owned and operated in our expansive facility in Sylmar, California. We have a team of industry experts with decades of experience in the candle and fragrance industry. Our vendor partners have been with us for many years, and work closely with us to assure our customers get the best quality and pricing possible. Our lab and R&D experts are constantly working to develop new and innovative formulas and of course our entire team is dedicated to making our customers beyond satisfied.
Our roster of customers spans from small start-up brands to world known candle lines, retailers, and companies large and small looking to add the popular home fragrance category to their product lines. From mass market to high end luxury, one thing is certain, the quality will be par none.
